Service Description

Here at Toot Hill we have our separate Cat house, with large high comfortable pens for your cat to explore at least 3-4 storeys of climbing and hidey holes, self warming beds to make sure they are comfy and warm, toys and climbers to give them playtimes and action. All bedding, food and toys are provided, but as with all our pets, if your cat has a blanket or bed they love or a t shirt that smells of their family, we encourage you to bring it to help them settle over the first couple of days. Cats can be super friendly and want love and strokes from the outset, they can be anxious and stay in their carriers for a day or two before they venture out, or they can be a bit growly and royally aggravated to be moved from their houses. As with all our pets their care is individualised to their needs and temperaments. We offer lots of affection, and to those who prefer we keep clear - we respect their wishes and simply chat a lot to a willing audience, repeating their names and keeping quiet and calm until they feel safe enough to venture and meet us properly. We understand the temperaments of our gorgeous feline friends and again aim to provide holistic individualised care to them. We also try to provide a comfortable, safe, warm environment, using colours, lavender and rosemary smells and cat nip on occasion. All cats are observed for their welfare needs at every visit to ensure good nutrition and kitty litter use, mood and temperament and general health.
