Service Description

We take four legged friends of all breeds and sizes. Puppies from 6 months up to our elderly pets, we try to adopt holistic and individualised approaches to your pets individual needs. We use colour therapy in our pens to ensure a calmer environment, lots of personal interaction, and extra walks can be organised at a small extra cost. We do try and walk all our dogs daily, and we also have three secure exercise pens with toys and climbing frames to assist in the enrichment of your dogs experience. We provide all your dog needs whilst in our care, bedding, food etc but we do encourage owners to bring in a blanket and/or toy that smells of home to help give them a sense of home and comfort for their first few days. If you feel you'd like your dog to remain on the same food or they have special dietary needs you are welcome to bring it too. We understand here at Toot Hill that some dogs are very anxious when they arrive into what must seem at first a scary and strange environment, and to help combat that we give extra reassurance on check in and spend a little time with them in their pen with lots of cuddles and reassurance to help them settle easier. We monitor your dogs daily to ensure they have eaten well, are weeing and pooing normally, any changes in mood or behaviour and general health of them. We do not offer at this time grooming services, however, general brushing and cleaning of pets happens daily and we endeavour to keep everyone clean and comfortable. Our guests do not mix with other dogs from other homes here, as while we know lots of dogs are very sociable, we can not take any risks of confrontation or dogs being frightened by another. Our Kennel and cattery assistants are very caring and experienced in animal care and we all share the same mindset of care, compassion and ensuring every pet is cared for to our full ability allowing owners to know that while they are away their pets are being looked after with love and competence. We give 10% discount for 2 or more pets from the same household in separate pens and 15% discount for 2 or more pets sharing. We charge £14 per day per dog.
